Finally I have finished the Traveller’s Blanket. I said “sort of” because there are spaces to allow me to add more medallions or place names should I need to. I’m really happy with it and plan to make some more of these recycled-new fabric concoctions. I also liked not having batting. It feels so much nicer and is beautifully drapey.
Anyway my ideas will have to go on hold for a little because I want to finish hand-quilting the In a Spin quilt and machine quilting the “Manly” quilt first. Wish me luck!
Here’s a pic of the finished blanket. I wish I were a better photographer. Years ago I did a course but that was in the days of choosing your own f stop, depth of field etc., etc. Now it’s point and shoot and I think I need some pointers.
