I’m joining with hundreds of other blogs and participating in the Sew Mama Sew Give-Away Day. My give-away is this totally hand-sewn pin cushion. It’s vital statistics are: sides 3″; point to point 5.5″; side to side 4.5″.  The fabric is from the Portobello Market range by Moda. Here are some photos of the front and the back.

What do you have to do to win it?

I’m not a fan of the random number generator. I’m probably biased because it never picks my number when I enter give-aways. Anyway I’ve decided I prefer human intervention. So I’ve picked a number between 1 and 100. All you have to do is to guess what it is. This give-away is open to international visitors as well as Aussies. In the event that no one guesses it then the closest person to the number will win. In the event that more than one person picks the correct number or is closest to it then those names will be put in a bag and the winner will be drawn by my trusty DH. Any questions? [Edit: Ooops! Forgot to say that entries are open until December 17th US time. So I’ll close the give-away around 4pm on December 18th Sydney time]

While you’re here

While you’re here why not subscribe to my blog by email?   [Edit: Don’t forget to click on the confirmation email to confirm your subscription. Check your SPAM folder in case it’s in there.]

And please visit my lovely sponsor Cathy at Wondrous Woven Fabrics.

Check out the lovely new fabric ranges she has on her home page – Parisville, Paradise, Fandango and Isabella!

I adore the Jacaranda purple colourway of the Isabella range. Isn’t it gorgeous? Might have to break my fabric fast again. 🙂

She has great normal prices and some top specials from only $2.50 a half yard.

What’s more I notice she has Elizabeth Hartman’s new book – The Practical Guide to Patchwork: New Basics for the Modern Quiltmaker – at an amazing $10.50 OFF the recommended price, making it only $14.95!

Have fun and don’t forget to visit the Sew Mama Sew blog (Monday US time) for a list of all the participating blogs.
