On Saturday we went into Sydney city in the afternoon and had a stroll around the Rocks area where the Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Opera House are.

I took my trusty little Panasonic Lumix with me and had a play. Come and ride with us as we drove with sun roof open around Sydney on a glorious January day. These are all thumbnails but if you click on them you’ll get larger photos.

Looking for the Queensland Flood Appeal auction?

You can find the auctions here and here.

Sydney icons

On Sunday evening my husband and I took a stroll around the rocks area of Sydney. The evening was balmy with a light breeze and it was a very pleasant stroll.

In addition to the Sydney icons of the Harbour Bridge and the Opera House I was struck by the beauty of the windows and stone work in this building (below). I don’t know if you can read the stone banner but it shows that it started life as The Scottish and Australian Bank.
