I got a lovely surprise in my mail box today. A present from my aunt in the UK. Inside the brown paper parcel was one 100% linen tea towel and one 100% cotton one and they’re just lovely, don’t you think?

The bee one is made my Sophie Allport. I Googled her and she has a website crammed full of beautifully designed, fabric, aprons, tea towels, cards and more. You can learn about her here.

The other one is a National Trust tea towel designed by Madeleine Floyd and made by the Ulster Weavers and has paintings of English birds and their eggs with their calls written underneath. I love the turquoise border, I think it really sets it off beautifully. Thank you Aunty J.
