I’m sorry I’ve been away from the blog for so long but I really did need to take a rest. Anyway to make up for it here are some photos of my recent finishes.
This is a baby quilt I did for a young relative’s new baby. I hope she likes it. I haven’t heard since I sent it.
These images are from a coverlet I made using McKenna Ryan fabric and quilting with Aurifil 12wt. Click on the pics to get a better view. I’m afraid the photos don’t do it justice it looks MUCH nicer in the fabric so-to-speak. 🙂
This next photo is of the Camelot quilt which I recently had machine quilted even though the blocks are hand-pieced, so that I could have it ready to give as a wedding present to some young relatives.
And last but not least Mr Tiggy “hiding” but sprung in the laundry sink. Sigh…
It’s funny that you posted now. I have been thinking about you a LOT the last few days, and how much I have missed your posts! Did you feel me thinking about you? You have been a busy girl, and I hope you got some rest. I love your Camelot quilt. It is so unique. I hope the weather hasn’t been too bad for you. I know it is almost summer there. It’s been unseasonable cool here in the San Diego area, but that’s okay because I like it cool. It was warm today, but it’s supposed to start cooling off. My daughter lives in the Midwest and they’ve had a lot of rain, snow and ice. She turned 40 on Friday the 13th! It’s hard to believe she’s 40. I had 3 boys before her, and we waited so long for a little girl, I cried every time I looked at her for a week….lol. I hope all is well with your family. Try not to be such a stranger!

Hi Linda Lovely to hear from you. Of course you are right! I was thinking about you. I was thinking how normally when I go quiet I hear from you checking up on me – which is lovely – and how I hadn’t heard from you in a while and I was wondering how you were. So glad all is well with you. Thanks for your comment. Munaiba
Welcome back Munaiba. I agree, the Camelot quilt looks fabulous! In my experience mums of new babes take a while to get their heads together, but when they do, many then send you a photo of the baby on the quilt!
Thanks Dot. I’m sure you’re right about the baby quilt It’s just you worry whether or not it got lost in the mail when you send tit overseas.
Hi Munaiba,
They all look great. Your stitching is so good.
Thanks Annette
