Today I tried a new recipe – a yummy lemon syrup cake.
This is the recipe I used. There are a few details I would add to this recipe of I were to make it again.
- Make sure your eggs are at room temperature.
- Make sure your milk is at room temperature.
- When adding the milk and flour add in the following order – a little milk, a little flour, a little milk a little flour, the rest of the milk, the rest of the flour.
If you do this then you will lessen the likelihood of the mixture splitting/curdling. Good luck and enjoy!
