I’ve been taking some photos of little domestic pleasures. A warm, flourless orange cake, a new fruit bowl full of lemons and home-grown mandarins, a baby quilt made from scraps, a couple of zippered pouches I made thanks to Kristen Link’s (of Sew Mama Sew) free Craftsy course – Bag making basics, a pile of ironed, quilted goodies etc. Anyway here they are and I hope you enjoy them too.
Lovely! That orange cake looks very yummy, and how lucky are you that you have your own mandarin tree. They are so good. You can come here and iron some of my fabric if you are bored….lol.

Wow, Munaiba, you’re being a lot more productive than I am. Your baby quilt is lovely… did you make it by hand or use your new machining skills? I love the outline quilting.
Such a yummy looking blog with the cake and those pretty fabrics.:)
I’ve had two attempts at flourless orange cake in the last couple weeks, and both were imperfect – the first undercooked, the second stuck to the pan and the bottom ripped off. But that second one was delicious!
I’m using an almond flour, eggs & boiled oranges recipe H’s cousin shared a few weeks ago.
Just got around to reading this post, but I’m glad I did since your domestic pleasures speak to my domestic goddesses heart! Lovely, and you were busy too! 🙂
