Last night I finished binding the Chevron Explosion Quilt (previously known as the “Manly Quilt”). I’m contemplating selling this quilt. It’s a good size lap quilt and measures 49″ x 56″, is machine -pieced and hand quilted. The back is pieced and I appliqued one of the flowers onto it too and embellished it with this lovely burnished copper 12wt Aurifil variegated thread. Take a look.
Your quilt is so beautiful.
It has turned out beautifully! Of course, I love all of your quilts….lol. I think anyone who values hand work would love to buy and own this quilt. Keep up the good work.

Lovely quit – beautiful work…
i love seeing that lotta jansdotter fabric in a quilt – it works so well! i particularly like how you’ve cut out the beautiful white/purple flowers and embroidered them – such a great idea. i have a small piece of that fabric left, and you’ve given me an idea on how to get the most from it 🙂
That’s great. I used up some of my scraps by making a sleep visor for my husband.
