Finally I have finished the Traveller’s Blanket. I said “sort of” because there are spaces to allow me to add more medallions or place names should I need to. I’m really happy with it and plan to make some more of these recycled-new fabric concoctions. I also liked not having batting. It feels so much nicer and is beautifully drapey.
Anyway my ideas will have to go on hold for a little because I want to finish hand-quilting the In a Spin quilt and machine quilting the “Manly” quilt first. Wish me luck!
Here’s a pic of the finished blanket. I wish I were a better photographer. Years ago I did a course but that was in the days of choosing your own f stop, depth of field etc., etc. Now it’s point and shoot and I think I need some pointers.
I love, love, love it! The little squares and triangles are a perfect “fit.” Keep us posted with the quilting – both hand and machine.

Will do. Thanks Linda
This really is an original quilt and I have never seen anything like it at all. Fabulous
Thanks Cherie
Hi Munaiba- this has come up beautifully- the varaition inshapes adds a lot of interest!
Thanks Dijanne. I really enjoyed the process.
I love it! I’m simply amazed at what you come up with! 🙂
Thanks Sylvia 🙂
It’s fabulous! It’s creative but not crazy, colorful and fun!!!! Love it!
Thanks Annette!
I think it’s absolutely fabulous! Maybe you should drop a hint & get a DSLR then you can go point & shoot, progam, or full manual. Love, mine but some how it is different than the film version of the same camera.
