I’ve been pressing ahead with the traveller’s blanket. I’ve done a fair bit of quilting and I’ve added some more circles of fabric. I’ve been very careful to try to keep it tidy on the back and I’m really happy with the way it’s shaping up. Want to take a look?

Almost, but not quite, as lovely on the back as it is on the front! 😎
xo Linda
Thanks Linda
I love the way this is developing… The subtle colors and the variety of the quilting stitches is building up into a very satisfying piece of work.
It’s looking great! I love the differences and changes! Can’t wait to see what else you come up with
your quilting is lovely..how I wish I could keep my stitches as even as yours…..that’s probably why I don’t do much hand quilting. and the back is just so neat too.
cheers for now.
Thank you Maria but they’re really not all that even. I don’t worry about it now I just do it. I’m not letting anyone near it with a ruler. 🙂
Loving this. Is it the one from Dijanne?
Thanks Kate. It is inspired by Dijanne’s class but it’s not really anything like hers. She has three layers and I have two. Dijanne dyes her fabric and it’s whole cloth while mine is pieced from old linen clothes. The only similarity are the pieces of appliqued fabrics. As Dijanne said in the class Yahoo group – mine took a “right turn”. 🙂
