This is what I’ve been up to the last few days. Cutting, marking and sewing. I’m hand-piecing a new quilt.
Here’s a pic of the EQ pattern. I’m sticking to the layout but not the colours.
Inner Creative Prize Winner
Well there were only two entries and the one that made me laugh most was Fran’s. So Fran you’re the winner. I haven’t decided what to send you yet but I hope to finalise it in the next day or so.
I wondered where you had been lately. Busy, as usual, I see. 😎 I can’t wait to see the new quilt. How big do you plan on making it? I’ve been working on my shawls. I started on the green one first, and it is going fast, but now I’ve put it down and am working on the blue “Curly Q” one. It is snuggly yarn and I am drawn to it. It does go slowly, though. It seems silly to be crocheting something warm when we are moving towards warm weather. I imagine it’s starting to cool off in your part of the world. I love autumn. It’s my favorite season. The air is always crisp and the colors of the leaves change to those luscious browns and oranges….sigh. I would be happy to live in perpetual autumn.

That’s a very interesting pattern. The eye keeps searching for one, but I don’t believe there IS one. lol Can’t wait to see it.
Love your new quilt pattern. It’s one of my favorite blocks from the Kaffe quilt. What kind of fabrics are you considering.
Yea, winning is always nice. Thanks.
