I’ve finally finished my lace shawl! I think I spent more time unknitting than knitting on this one. The next task was to block the shawl. However, I do not possess a blocking board, blocking wires or T-pins so I had to make do with what I did have – a room whose carpet will be replaced shortly (I hope), a couple of towels, some of those two pronged pins and some quilting safety pins. Here’s the not completely satisfactory result. Let’s hope it’s all right when it dries.

And it looks like the unknitting would have been as tricky as the knitting! Well done on persisting to the very end… it looks lovely!
I love the way the colors work. I am envious of your persistence with the lace. I’m still not brave enough!
This pattern is called Easy as Pie and the pattern is easy it was just my concentration that was the problem. 🙂
Gorgeous! Definitely not something I would try right now!!
Lovely and they’re right, I don’t think I’d even attempt it! 🙂
Don’t you just love knitting lace? It’s like making a soufle–mostly air! Great job!
Beautiful !!! I love the colors – blues & greens together are fantastic. Really great work ♥
