It looks wonderful Munaiba… congratulations on a beautiful piece. And the quilt looks great on the bed too. The two together have such a fresh welcoming look.
Hi Doris. In the first instance, I used it because I didn’t know you could buy stretchers on their own but as it turns out – after the fact – Cheryl told me it was a “brilliant idea” lol because she had done it over stretchers only and it became very dirty and dusty on the underside and it showed through. Beginner’s luck!
Absolutely beautiful. Actually, you have inspired me to do the same thing with a quilt I made years ago. I was just about to make up a sandwich with it and quilt it, but now I think I’ll just staple it and hang it! Thanks for the idea.
It looks really lovely Munaiba …and what a great idea, stretching it over a canvas.
Thanks for sharing with us. You’ve inspired me to try that with a UFO of mine.
Munaiba – This is so beautiful & inspiring to me – everytime I feel myself dragged down by my current quilting project – I come back to this link… Its so gorgeous!
It looks lovely!
That is absolutely *stunningly* beautiful. What a simply gorgeous job you have done.
I love the colors and the composition. Wowsers .. just a fantastic work of art.
Congratulations!
Breathtaking! I looks just like I saw it in my mind….

Well done. My hands are a bit too shaky now for needle turn but I do admire it.

Oh Munaiba, I just love it! Combined with the bed quilt, it looks like such a warm, restful place to sleep. LOVELY!
It’s fantastic. I love it being stapled to canvas. I’m going to give that one a try.

Lovely Munaiba! I’m curious though. Is there a reason you stretched it over canvas instead of just using stretchers?

Very elegant, and it looks lovely with the quilt on the bed also.
What a beautiful, peaceful wall hanging to have in a bedroom. Your idea of stretching it over canvas is brilliant.
