Well I’ve started quilting the Lily Wall Hanging. I’m doing ripples and I’m using my Sulky Blendables. I wish had some more and different colours but at the moment I’m contenting myself with two. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the ripples all the way up or have breaks or change the interval between the ripples or what. It’s a make it up as you go along kind of thing.
Do you want to see some of what I’ve done so far?
Looking good! I love the way you’ve echoed the stems with the ripples. Simple but effective…
Great so far! I think it’s time for me to get off the computer and quilt too. Thanks for the inspiration!

I like the ripples! Great idea!
Lovely, what weight thread are you using? The thirty weight or the 12? I love Blendables. They have such nice color combinations…
I’m using the 12 weight Sylvia
Very nice!! Love your even stitches
Very nice! I love your ripples idea–going to file it away for future reference. Isn’t it fun to develop a quilting design as you go along? The continual surprises makes the work fly along.
I’m liking it!!! You are working along and I’m feeling guilty for not producing like I sometimes do, be proud.
When I saw that Cherie was doing sashiko it perked up my ears or eyes.
