I’ve finished the appliqué pattern and I’ve transferred it to the back of the background. I’m using the back basting technique to appliqué these stems. The photo isn’t crash hot as the light wasn’t very good but you can get an idea of how it’s going.

This is looking interesting already Munaiba. Don’t you just love back basting? I saw a book recently called ‘Circles of the East’ which has some fabulous designs. It’s out of print now bit I’m thinking of buying a used copy from Amazon and starting a hand applique project. Oops! Did I hear myself using ‘hand’ & ‘project’ in the same sentence? LOL
