Gosh my hands and fingers are so sore! I’ve been quilting like a mad thing. Deciding where and how much to quilt the central medallion was difficult. I don’t want to quilt the whole Arabesque so I decided to quilt around the inner scalloped edge and also to do two rows in the centre. I’ve pinned the rest of it so that when I was wash it holds it in place. Fingers crosssed!

that is IMPRESSIVE!! i know the sore fingers thing for applique. have only done one hand quilted quilt and my fingers kept “freezing”. that was 20+ years ago and these much older hands couldn’t handle it…total pun intended!! again, super wonderful to see your work. have a great day
I love this piece! I have lots of photos I took of patterns in India that one day I would like to replicate in fabric. This is inspirational.
