Well I took your advice and I wrote to the person I bought the thread donut from. I don’t know why I didn’t before. I guess I just accepted that that was the standard but from what many of you have said Superior threads normally are superior. Anyway I’ll keep you posted as to what happens though I suspect that it’s probably a bit late now as I have used so many of them.

[Edit: I’m really impressed. Here is the email I received from the company I bought the threads from.]

Hi Munaiba,

I am really sorry to hear that you have been having trouble with the threads in the Frosted Donut.
I have not had any other complaints from anyone else, but I will replace them for you, as I want you to enjoy using them and be happy when using them.
We do have a guarantee with our threads; however it is a 30 day one.
I will email the company to find out if they had any other complaints 18months ago.
Please send the Donut back to me at the address below and I will replace it for you.

Bee in Oz Block for May

I just finished the Bee in Oz May block for Kyishia. I hope she likes it. She sent me four fabrics and asked for squares within squares. I didn’t use one of the fabrics as I felt it didn’t add anything to the others. It was a pale pink dot on a pale beige background.
