As you all know, my husband took me for a delicious lobster lunch by the beach for my birthday. Afterwards we went for a lovely walk all around the Watson’s Bay area of Sydney.
The first six photos are from, and of, the restaurant.
The next two photos are of a house that is right on the beach. Can you see the wooden seagull in the window? I photographed it because I thought it was cute. Then I saw their gate with its sea-horse cut out and a post box with the words La Mouette written on it. All becomes clear when you realise that this is French for seagull.
The last photo is of Dunbar House which is a very popular wedding venue. Isn’t it lovely? All the photos will take you to larger ones if you click on them and then if you click on that larger one you will get a still larger one. I hope you enjoyed seeing them. More photos to come…
We went to Doyles when we were in Sydney. It was fabulous, we just made it it time for the end of lunch service, but they certainly didn’t rush us through our meal, which is a rarity these days. So relaxing just enjoying your favourite food, a good drop of wine, the beautiful view and good company. What a way to celebrate a birthday!
