I’d like to know what you would really like to see. What makes you want to read a blog? What features do you really like? Are you into tutorials, free patterns, block swaps, quilt-alongs or something entirely different?
Please vote
I’ve set up this poll and I’d really like it if you took the time to fill it in. If you have something you’d like to see that’s not listed just type it in the text box next to the Other option. Once you have voted, please come back to the page and leave a comment saying you voted (so I can contact you) and you’ll go in the draw for a secret prize.
I want Sewjournal to be relevant to my readers. I love the two-way conversations we have via the comments and email and I’d like to do more of what keeps you coming back. Thanks for all your support.
I love reading your blog, I like the variety 😉
I voted. I have to say that I like your blog the way it is. 🙂
Hi
I’ve voted, and I like the way your bog is already, but I would like to see more tutorials, your blog would be a great place to see them.
I love your blog like it is, but I really enjoy stories and pictures of your journeys with your husband around Sydney, and pictures of Mr. Tiggy! Of course, I love to see the progress pictures of your quilting, too….lol
Oh, I did vote.
I voted and can’t wait to see your results!!
I voted for daily doings – I like your blog the way it is, and I love seeing pictures of your weekend getting around your area.
I enjoy your blog every day and love hearing about your travels around your city and your daily activities. I think that’s my favorite subject although I like looking at your in process and finished projects.
your blog is interesting…like to read daily.
cheers and good luck
I would like to see more tutorials. I enjoy reading your daily blog.
Enjoy your day today
I voted. 🙂 I’d love to see some tutorials.
I love tutorials. Blogs are my favorite way to learn from others. I enjoy reading your blog.
I voted. I just recently started reading blogs. I didn’t know how to read them once I was following them. Now I have another obsession to keep me from my quilts!
I like your blog the way that it is too, but then a bit of variety never hurts! They do say that variety is the spice of life! Thanks for all that you write in your blog – I do enjoy checking it out.
Oh dear! Glad I read your next post…I voted but didn’t comment..so here it is…
I enjoy a peak into other peoples lives and also really enjoy any tutorials, they always seem to be of great help to this very, very newbie in patchwork/quilting.
Thanks for all the time you put into your blog for us to enjoy.
Most things in the life of the quilter/crafter is interesting to me. Tutorials are the one thing I think makes for a blog that takes off, just what I’ve surmised anyway. I voted and I’ll be interested in what you think afterwards.
Voted 😀
I think you should simply do as you like. If you like to do tutorials, then do them. It seems to me that the most popular blogs that I follow don’t. These show WIPs with links, when appropriate, to patterns or detailed instructions. Not quilt related but http://yarnharlot.ca/blog/
or this http://www.masondixonknitting.com/
I prefer to read the “whats up” type of blogs–what’s new with the blogger, what’s new in the craft.
I voted! thanks for the great blog.
I voted! I enjoy reading your blog.
I voted. I think you do a great job already, though!
I voted! I like to see stuff you are making – it inspires me to get making things too.
Hi, I’ve voted. Love all aspects of your blog. Maybe also some tips for us newbies into the world of blogging would be great too.
Hello Munaiba,
I have just voted, and must say, that your blog must be pretty good as it is or I wouldn’t be still reading it. Your quilts are interesting, and it helps me feel less useless when you put up blocks etc you have had a problem with or made mistakes with. Many don’t, then when I can’t achieve a similar result it can be very discouraging. My daughter and I love your recipes, and of course free patterns/tutorials are always a bonus. Thank you for sharing your life and efforts.
I just love your blog the way it is 🙂 Thankyou
