Yesterday I visited Morris & Sons in Sydney to “ooh and aah” over the lovely yarns they have there. I couldn’t resist this Noro Silk Garden Lite. (45% Silk, 45% Kid Mohair, 10 % Lamb’s Wool)
Who would have thought that something that looked like this on the outsidecould look like this on the inside?
And this is what it looks like knitted into my spiral scarf.
Thank you to everyone who gave me suggestions re the Appliqué Sampler. You’ve certainly given me a lot to think about. I’ll let you know when I decide what my next step will be.
What gorgeous yarn Munaiba! Your scarf is looking stunning.
I haven’t done any knitting for a long time. I just might dust off the needles this winter.
Pretty yarn and I love the scarf.
That is a unique scarf, but it is sure a surprise at all the colors in that yarn!!!
I looove noro yarns. They put colors together that I would never think of. Did you use a pattern for your scarf?
It’s a pretty generic pattern. i didn’t actually have one but you can get them.
I love that yarn, and have some myself, but can’t decide what to knit with it. Was going to be a sleeveless overtop. I love your scarf. Happy Knitting.
I was given the very same yarn by my young daughter in law for christmas, two skeins. I love the colours. She enclosed a lovely lacey scarf pattern too. I am looking forward to knitting with something really “posh”.
What a lovely daughter in law. 🙂
