Here, as promised, are the rest of the photos from Saturday’s Scquilters’ Gathering. First up are a beautiful Dresden plate made by Robyn and some clever quilted Christmas decorations made by Claire.

Next are some stunning Japanese fabrics – muslin I think as it is so fine, or cotton lawn – brought by Jean.
The are so fine that even though they are double thickness you can still see the one that is underneath. Amazing!

Those pieces of fabric look like tenugui – they are used as wash clothes, or tieing around the head, or even go into great quilts. They are also traditionally used to carry adverts for businesses.
The latest ones have fantastic designs, similar to some modern yukata – summer kimono.
