Yesterday Doris made some interesting comments on my post about quilt patterns.
She suggested I use some circular or spiral patterns to be a sort of counterpoint to the rectangular coloured strips of my quilt. I did actually think of doing a spiral and then I decided it was just beyond my skill level at the moment.
I also designed the one on the left which is less challenging than a spiral because it is so wonky but I’m still not convinced it is do-able by me especially as it would need to be “filled in”.
Apropos of nothing here’s a cat that has been SPRUNG!
This might be why I have several tops stored away in my drawer. I can’t decide how I want to quilt them and can’t afford to send them out to be quilted. Keep trying and I’m sure you will come up with a wonderful design. You are so artistic it will be great when you get it figured out.
