The last few days have seen me, rotary cutter in hand, reducing my ever increasing pile of odd shaped scraps into various sized squares. They go right up to 8.5″ squares and down to 1″ squares. The 1″ squares (shown here) are destined for my granddaughter. I’m going to suggest she stick them with paste onto cardboard and make some pretty bookmarks for family and friends. They all look so lovely in their different sized piles, that I want to start sewing them together immediately. However I am resisting. I want to have as much choice available to me as possible before I dive in. So I guess today is another cutting day.
