Yesterday I went to The Quiltsmith’s Sunday Sale. It was so difficult to choose… There was 30% off ALL FUNKY FABRICS!
These are my favourites, as you’ve no doubt come to realise. I picked up bolts, put them back, picked them up again, swapped them. Sigh… They were all so lovely. And even better, Melinda of The Quiltsmith had written to tell me that as I was the first person to comment on their blog I could have .5 metre of any fabric I liked as a gift!
So what did I choose? I chose this lovely grey, teal and violet Kaffe Fasset Cloud fabric.
But back to the sale…
Here are my funkies… The top one is a Brandon Mably and is my favourite here. The bottom one is from Kaffe’s range I think and I’m planning on using it as a border to my Andalusian Tile quilt – if I ever get that far. Though at least I did do some hand quilting on it today, so there’s still hope.
And here are some others that I bought. I just love the colours though they don’t show too well in the mobile phone camera and interior light. They are purple and violet. Hopefully I’ll have a camera again tomorrow!
I succumbed too! olive green funkies… not sure what I’ll be doing with them though. Fortunately I had to meet a friend so was restrained by a time limit! It was a great sale!
