What fun this Sew Mama Sew May Give Away has been
I have really enjoyed this give away. I’ve found so many new blogs to read and I love reading all your comments. Thank you for visiting and taking part I’m just sorry I can’t send you all a prize.
Give Away Winners
Well I have an apology to make. I did say in my post that I would pick the winners at random but then found out later that WordPress doesn’t number posts and that there is no way to do this. (I have asked them to add this facility for the future) This meant I couldn’t use the random number generator so in order to be fair I have re-read each and every post and picked three that gave me an interesting reason to pick them. I hope you all agree that these have merit. Winners, I’ll be contacting you by email to get your postal details. Keep reading for details of another give away.
Fat quarter No: 1
The winner is: Jackie of Sew Fun to Quilt. She said:
“Wow what is your secret!? 5 weeks and sew many visitors? Congrats! Love your give away! I’d say #1 first and #2 second (in case of a tie!) LOL Thanks for the giveaway!
I visited Jackie’s blog as I did with just about everyone of you who had them and found that this woman entered every single Give Away on the Sew Mama Sew Give Away lists! That’s hundreds and hundreds. I thought that such perseverance should be rewarded especially as she didn’t just write a three word comment. I hope you all agree.
Fat Quarter No: 2
The winner is: Dot who said:
“As always, enjoying your blog, Seems like lots of people love #2, as I do. It reminds me of the fabrics in the first quilt I ever made. My eldest daughter cherishes it, even though I think she needs a new and better one. I’d love to win your give away as it would get the next quilt off to a good start. #1 is nice too!”.
I thought it would be really nice to know that this fabric is the starting fabric for a new quilt and Dot I hope you will send me a photo of the quilt when it is finished so I can show everyone.
Fat Quarter No: 3
The winner is: Nancy who said:
“Hello from Maryland, USA. Beautiful fabric, makes me want to bake some sweet potato pie I don’t have a fav, so you pick for me. And congrats on the Janome and have fun with it “. I like the idea of the fabrics inspiring cooking as these are two of favourite occupations. Nancy I hope you like your fabric and please send me your pumpkin pie recipe. I’ve never tasted pumpkin pie and it sounds delicious!
Another Give Away
During this Give Away my trusty Blog Stats tell me that my overall number of visitor since I started on 11 April 2010 has been 5,366! Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I really appreciate it. To celebrate cracking the 5,000 visitor milestone I’ve decide to host another Give Away. If I can get myself organised then I’ll post full details of it tomorrow.
Thank you all for visiting. I hope you’ll stick around and let me know what you think even when the give aways are finished.
