This morning I went to the Camden Country Quilters’ Friendship Day to learn foundation paper piecing. Our teacher Jan was very patient with me as, being spatially challenged, I spent much of the time “unsewing”. However I was very pleased with the final result and fully intend to try a few more things using this method.
I’ve had the pattern for this bag going round in my head for three days now and I just had to let it out – besides I need an ort bag. It stands 4.5″ tall and folds up neatly like a supermarket brown bag and I’m quite happy with this first attempt. I took photos of the process and may make a tutoiral if there’s any interest. It didn’t take long to make and you could also use it as a gift bag. I think it’s quite cute.
