A friend on a hand quilting email list sent me this link to a site that has the most beautiful silk threads: 171 colours, quilting weight as well 50wt and 100wt. I’d love to try this thread as looks absolutely gorgeous. I’m betting Janet from Quiltsalott will also be drooling over these when she takes a look.
Mr Tiggy Q.C.
Have you met Mr Tiggy Q.C. (Quilting Cat)? Whenever you put a piece of fabric on the floor he’ll sit on it for you. When I’m at the machine in the sewing room he’s there too.
He just loves quilts and so a while ago I made him one of his own out fabrics I didn’t like but it turned out OK and he likes it.
Scones on the way…
I’ve just made some savoury scones and though I do say so myself they are particularly yummy.
I might post the recipe later if anyone is interested?
Please do post your scone recipe! I made some this morning to take to my quilt history group meeting…everyone liked them but I feel they could be better…would love to try yours – it looks delicious!
Ms Moggie is my quilt inspector and the moment fabric appear and is on table or floor she is there and in it and on it.
Brat.
I just turned around to see her up on the mess of my cutting table.
MIght be my blog picture for today.
