Today was a beautiful, warm Autumn day and so we went to Eveleigh Carriage Works to the Artisans’ Market which is held on the first Sunday of each month. This was our first visit and we really enjoyed it. The first stall I spied had these gorgeous gift tags and greeting cards. I just couldn’t resist.
They are also available online from geritom71.etsy.com – apparently buying paper for these cards is just as addictive as buying fabric for quilts. I can see why.
I saw some beautifully crafted felt scarves while I was there, made by Amanda and Alison of A2 Designs. Take a look, aren’t they lovely?
And that’s not all… I had been on the lookout recently for a new sewing machine. I wanted a light one to take to classes. Well I found a light one but I’m not sure it’ll do much sewing! It’s made of felt. Isn’t it clever? It comes from herbert & friends.
Last but not least I saw these cute signs. You can attach them to any hard surface with blue tack. They’re very bright and cheery, don’t you think? They’re made my Mooza designs.
I nearly bought the JOY one at the front. It really took my fancy but I saved my pennies this time. Maybe next time…
Note: None of the Artisan’s above paid me or gave me anything to mention them. I just liked their products and asked if I could take some photos for my blog. I’m happy to help promote people making beautiful things. Good luck to all of them.
Comments: By the way, I love to get your comments and hear your ideas. Please feel free to leave me a comment. I do read all of them and reply when necessary.
Thanks so much for including me, and I am glad you love your cards. It is great to see my paper addiction is making other people happy. Drop in and say hi at the markets again. Kathryn
I had to look twice at that felt sewing machine! lol How cool is that? sylvia
