Last Wednesday I had a flu shot. By Friday bits of me were aching. By Sunday I had the scratchy throat and by Tuesday I was really sick. I’m on the mend now I think but I still have a sore throat and a hacking cough. When I speak I sound like a poor waif as my voice is all but non-existent. However on the plus side – and there has to be one, right? – I have been sitting quietly, if sniffly, and hand quilting while listening to my audio books.
Sniffle, sniffle, cough, cough…

Hi Liz
Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Munaiba,
Great blog! I’ll have to try the cookies. Since DH had his heart surgery, I’m always on the look out for recipes to satisfy his sweet tooth. I’ve used butter & peanut oil combination but not butter & olive oil. Need to give it a try. Can you describe what the Gourmet garlic & chili are? Don’t think that brand’s available in the States.
Sorry you’re feeling under the weather. Do you think it’s from the flu shot?
Happy (belated) Birthday! I love the looks of those quilting books!
Hi Doris
Welcome. I’m just munching on one of those cookies as I write while sipping tea from Sylvia’s mug.. The Gourmet Garden brand are tubes of fresh herbs that are ready to use. I love them because they are so easy. You keep them in the fridge. This is their website. Take a look, you could maybe email them to see if they sell in the States.
Just visited the site myself and they do, it appears, have a US site. Here it is.
