Here are the second four blocks with their background. I am so fed up with this pattern and its inaccurate measurements. There’s going to be a lot of steaming, pinning and blocking and possibly some unpicking and re-sewing before this is all finished.

It’s tiring being a decorative object

Well, if it’s any comfort, it looks fabulous! When it’s all done, you’ll be so proud that you won the battle! (last night, I wrestled with my computer and the 3 no-longer-used cables that were making a rat’s nest and driving me crazy. I woman-handled it around, got them all disconnected, and put away. I was so annoyed, but so proud of myself when I was done and I was the victor…lol). What are your plans for it? Bed, wall, rug so you can stomp on it when you’re angry……..lol. Maybe a bed for poor, unloved, mistreated Mr. Tiggy…..8-)

Hi Linda
So glad to hear that your woman-handling bore fruits!
I feel like a good stomp sometimes!
I’ve haven’t a clue what I’ll do with it when it’s finished. It’s a bit dark fro my bedroom. Might have to sell it.
Thanks for your positive feedback.
Cheers

I too love these blocks. It will be beautiful when you “woman handle” it into submission and I have no doubt that you will.
At each stage I see these blocks – I like them more… You may be having it “annoy” you a bit but you are definately winning.
I love the quilt and your version of it, loathe the pattern. I am going to either re-draw the blocks in EQ or use blocks already in EQ for a similar look. It drives me nuts that I paid so much for a pattern that is unusable in it’s original form.
Good to see Mr Tiggy in his usual spot, though I’m not sure I’ve ever seen him anywhere else. Oh wait, on top of the washing machine! lol
Well, I have to say I *love* your blocks and I am soooo glad *you* are making this quilt and not me. tehehehe I do not think I would have lasted the distance like you did!
Looks terrific! What a shame about the pattern. I hope you let the publisher/designer know.
