I’ve sorted out a huge pile of fabrics and made a start on the Camelot quilt I blogged about a while ago here. If you scroll down you can see a picture of the quilt. I’m not sure that I’ll use those fabrics in that blog post for the background. I’m going to make all the circles first then decide.
I found this Baby Bunting Reunion fabric by Sweetwater for Moda in Vanilla. I like the colours and decided to make them the basis for my quilt.

Heres’ my first block.

Oh, that is going to be so lovely. I can hardly wait to see the progress photos! I don’t think I would have the patience to do those amazing circles like that. I like the Reunion line and its coordinating colors, and think it will make an extraordinary quilt.
I’m busy working on Christmas stockings for my youngest and her boyfriend/fiance. They are coming here for Christmas Eve and then going to his parents’ house Christmas day. I am invited to come along, but they live in a very lovely home they built on a hillside, with lots and lots of steps to get to the house no matter which way you go. I would love to go, but I cannot walk or stand w/o my walker and would never be able to get down (and don’t even think about up) those steps. I’m using some cream colored linen backed w/fusible fleece, and I’m going to line them with some Christmas prints. I’m not sure what to do about a cuff……with or without. It depends on my energy and pain level as I get farther along…..lol. At first I was afraid the cream color of the linen wouldn’t go with the Christmas prints I have, but I think it will be okay.
